You may be aware that the 2014/15 funding regulations are changing for SFA funded provision and many existing qualification will no longer meet the funding criteria.

NCFE are redeveloping the Level 2 Award (500/8314/4) and Certificate (500/8342/9) in Equality^definition and Diversity and are asking for your support for the new qualifications.

The new qualifications build on the previous versions and have been developed in order to address new legislation in this area, reinforcing the importance of equality and diversity within different contexts and ensuring that all learners gain an understanding of the different issues affecting equality and diversity today in society, the community and the workplace.

A vital part of submitting any new qualification to the regulators and securing funding is being able to demonstrate that there is demand and support from the centres delivering the qualifications. Attached is a template letter of support, and NCFE are encouraging centres to fill in and return the letter if they are able to support the continuation of these important qualifications.
