Increasing diversity in governance in FE

Are you passionate about education? Would you like to use your skills and experience to give something back? By becoming a governor you can make a difference.
To increase the diversity of board members, the sector wants to attract more people from ABME (Asian, Black, Mixed Ethnic) backgrounds who can play an active role as governors in their community.
The Network for Black and Asian Professional is offering workshops addressing issues of diversity in governance. These events will be held in Birmingham and Manchester. They are free to attend, and there are already only a limited number of places for the Birmingham workshop
For dates and details please see attached flyer. For further information or to book your place please email [email protected]
If you have colleagues who may be interested please feel free to forward this invitation.
Kind Regards
