Summary Just as they need Functional English and Maths, learners must now leave college with a sound understanding of Equality and Diversity in order to function successfully at work and as citizens in a diverse society. Over the 2013/2014 academic year, this project tested three strategies (long course – classroom discreet, short course – classroom embedded, very short course – residential) for ensuring the curriculum at college delivers this, with a particular focus on the LGB and T strands.
